De Betekenis van Zalving en Zalfolie

Why was the Anointing on Jesus? Because it was in Him first (Isaiah 61:1-3). That’s why you can never fake the Anointing. You can imitate the outward form, but you cannot replicate the flow. Because the flow of the Spirit is the result of what’s been cultivated in the secret place. Not on a platform, not in the spotlight, but in the stillness of surrender. It’s in that hidden place that your heart is refined, your motives are tested, and your character is forged. Fire does not fall on talent. Fire falls on sacrifice (Psalm 51:17). God is not moved by charisma. He is drawn to consecration.

Diverse mensen kennen mij van mijn boek 'De Gezalfde Bruid: Ontdek de eeuwenoude waarheid over het gebruik van Zalving en Zalfolie', welke in 2016 werd gepubliceerd. Vanwege mijn boek heb ik vele vragen over Zalfolie gekregen, maar ook over essentiële olie of etherische olie. Het is interessant om te zien dat deze vragen van alle lagen afkomstig waren, van kerkbezoekers tot kerkleiders. Voor mij is het een vreugde om te zien hoe de kennis over de Zalving en de Zalfolie hersteld wordt na zovele eeuwen van afwezigheid. Ook al verspreid die kennis zich maar langzaam. Ik hoor echter ook hoe meer en meer mensen de aanname doen dat essentiële olie hetzelfde zou zijn als Zalfolie. Ook hoor ik hoe mensen essentiële olie gebruiken om zichzelf en anderen mee te zalven. Tevens is mij gevraagd of ik ook essentiële oliën gebruik en of ik daar interesse in zou hebben. Aangezien deze vragen toenemen heb ik besloten om al deze vragen in één artikel te beantwoorden.
