Rooted in Christ.
Our only boast, our only foundation and our only hope: the Lord Jesus Christ, the promised Messiah of Israel.
At LoveUnlimited, we are rooted in a sincere, uncompromising devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ—Yahushua HaMashiach—the Son of the living God, the promised Messiah of Israel, the Lamb who was slain and the Lion who reigns. He is the Lord of lords, the King of kings, the Anointed One and the Beloved of heaven.
The Gospel of Jesus Christ
We believe that all people have fallen through sin and are separated from God by nature. Yet, in His great mercy, God has provided the only way of reconciliation with Himself: through Jesus Christ. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life—there is no other name under heaven given by which we can be saved (John 14:6; Acts 4:12).
We believe that salvation is freely given to everyone who receives Jesus Christ as Lord and Messiah—fully and sincerely—and entrusts his or her heart and life to Him. His finished work on the cross restores our soul, cleanses us from sin, lifts us up in grace and brings us back into fellowship with the Father. This restoration is available to all who repent, confess their sins and believe in His Name (1 John 1:9; Romans 10:9–10).
We believe that true grace is not a licence to sin, but the power to live righteously. Forgiveness begins when we acknowledge our sins, declare ourselves guilty before a holy God and embrace the mercy offered through the blood of the Lamb.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Person and work of the Holy Spirit—Ruach HaKodesh—the Spirit of God Himself, sent by Jesus Christ to be with us, in us and upon us. He is our Comforter, our Helper, our Advocate and our Guide into all truth (John 14:16–17; John 16:13). He convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgement, and empowers believers to walk in holiness and in a deep, intimate relationship with God.
We believe that Jesus Christ still baptises His followers with the Holy Spirit and with fire (Matthew 3:11; Acts 1:5). This baptism is not a symbolic option, but an essential supernatural empowerment for a victorious Christian life and fruitful ministry in the power of God.
We expressly reject the false and unbiblical teaching that the gifts and miracles of the Holy Spirit ceased after the so-called “apostolic age.” We affirm without compromise that He is the same Spirit today as He was in the early Church—still working, still moving, still pouring out.
We believe that the gifts of the Spirit—such as prophecy, healing, tongues, interpretation of tongues, miracles, words of knowledge and wisdom, discernment of spirits and faith—are all still active, available and essential for the Body of Christ today (1 Corinthians 12:4–11; Romans 12:6–8). We believe that the Holy Spirit continues to confirm the Gospel with signs and wonders, just as He did in the days of the apostles (Mark 16:17–18; Hebrews 2:4).
He still heals the sick, restores broken lives, casts out demons, brings the spiritually dead to life and delivers people from darkness into light. He still comforts those who mourn, fills the hungry and sets the hearts of those who truly seek God ablaze. Why? Because He is the Spirit of Jesus on earth—and Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8).
Miracles are not merely history—they are His story, still unfolding before our eyes. We believe that when the Holy Spirit moves, nothing is impossible (Luke 1:37).
The Word of God
We believe that the Bible is the inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God. It is useful for teaching, correction and training in righteousness, so that the believer may be equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16–17).
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Living Word (John 1:1, 14), and that abiding in His written Word is the same as abiding in Him. The more we abide in His Word, the more we will be transformed into His image.
We also believe that God delights in revealing His mysteries to those who earnestly seek Him. As Scripture says: “The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever” (Deuteronomy 29:29). Whoever asks receives; whoever seeks finds; and to whoever knocks, the door will be opened (Matthew 7:7). To the hungry and humble heart, He gives wisdom, understanding and divine revelation (2 Chronicles 1:11–12; James 1:5).
The Return of Christ
We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ to take His Bride to Himself. Although no one knows the day or the hour, we believe that the moment is near—very near. We live in watchfulness, readiness and longing for His appearing (Matthew 24:36; Revelation 22:17, 20).
Our Life of Surrender
We believe that true discipleship is not about taking control, but about surrendering all control to Christ. Following Jesus means laying down your own will, pride and plans and living in daily dependence upon Him. We decrease so that He may increase.
He must increase; I must decrease.
