Revival FM

Revival FM is an initiative of the LoveUnlimited Ministries Foundation. The station arose from a clear conviction: Christian radio does not have to sound dusty, predictable or musically mediocre. It can be energetic, contemporary and professional, without hiding or watering down the message of Jesus Christ. Revival FM therefore aims to offer a full-fledged and credible alternative to mainstream radio.

The vision behind the station grew out of my many years of experience in the radio world. My radio adventure began in 1994 at Hawaii Hit FM, the local broadcaster of what was then the municipality of Aalburg. After that, I worked for various local and regional radio stations. Radio became more than a hobby: it became a profession, a passion and, in the end, an important part of my life.

At the same time, over the years I became increasingly aware that much of mainstream radio no longer matched my faith. The music, lyrics and commercial messages more and more often carried values that stand in direct opposition to the Gospel. Meanwhile, I noticed that Christian radio often remained stuck at the other end of the spectrum: sincere in its content, but not always strong enough musically or in radio terms to truly reach a broad audience. An alternative was needed.

Revival FM therefore combines the energy and quality of modern hit radio with a positive and outspoken Christian identity. Not long, heavy talk programmes or a sleepy stream of music, but a dynamic mix of contemporary Christian hits, powerful production and short messages of faith, hope and life. Music takes centre stage in the programming, but behind it all the same message sounds: there is hope, there is restoration, and Jesus Christ is alive.

The station is not aimed only at people who are already consciously looking for Christian media. Revival FM also wants to be attractive and accessible to listeners who would normally tune in to commercial hit stations. They should not have to compromise on musical quality or energy in order to hear radio that strengthens their faith rather than broadcasts a message that conflicts with it.

Revival FM is built as an international online radio station and broadcasts twenty-four hours a day. From the Netherlands, it reaches listeners around the world. The station is more than background music: it is a sound of faith, fire and expectation. High-energy positive radio, with a message that matters.
