Refund and Cancellation Policy

This refund and cancellation policy applies to donations made to Stichting LoveUnlimited Ministries and to events for which Stichting LoveUnlimited Ministries acts as the organiser.
Stichting LoveUnlimited Ministries does not sell physical products through love-unlimited.org or love-unlimited.org. The provisions concerning the return of items, return shipments and shipping costs therefore do not apply.
Donations
A donation to Stichting LoveUnlimited Ministries is a voluntary gift for which no direct consideration is provided. Donations are therefore not subject to a statutory right of return or a general fourteen-day cooling-off period.
However, we understand that a mistake can be made when making a donation. Please contact us as soon as possible when:
- you have accidentally donated an incorrect amount;
- the same donation has been made more than once;
- a donation has been made without your permission;
- there has been a demonstrable technical or administrative error; or
- there is another exceptional reason why you are requesting a refund.

In your message, please state your name, the amount of the donation, the payment date, the payment method used and the reason for your request. Do not send full credit card details or other sensitive payment information by email.
We ask that you preferably submit a refund request within fourteen calendar days of the donation. A request submitted later will also be carefully considered, but it may no longer be possible to process it in full if the amount has already been irrevocably spent on a specific purpose.
We assess each request individually and on the basis of reasonableness. Stichting LoveUnlimited Ministries reserves the right to reject a request when there has been no mistake, unauthorised payment, technical error or other compelling circumstance.
Donations through Donorbox and Stripe
Online donations are handled through Donorbox. The payment is processed by Stripe.
When a refund is approved, it will generally be issued through the same payment method used for the original donation. A refund can only be made to the original payer.
Stichting LoveUnlimited Ministries does not have access to donors’ full credit card details and can only process a refund using the available information and functionality within Donorbox and Stripe.
A refund generally includes the amount received by Stichting LoveUnlimited Ministries from the donor. Transaction fees retained by Donorbox, Stripe, banks or other payment service providers may not be recoverable. Stichting LoveUnlimited Ministries will not additionally charge such costs to the donor, unless there has been misuse, fraud or an unfounded chargeback that demonstrably causes additional costs.
Donations by Bank Transfer
When you have transferred money directly to our bank account and a refund is approved, the amount will only be refunded to the bank account from which the original payment was made.
We may ask you to provide additional information in order to identify the payment and establish that the request has been made by the original payer.
Recurring Donations
A recurring donation can be cancelled for future payments.
You can manage or cancel a recurring donation using the options provided by Donorbox. You can also contact us at info@love-unlimited.org.
Cancelling a recurring donation only applies to future payments. Donations that have already been processed will not automatically be refunded. The provisions concerning refunds of donations in this policy apply to a payment that has already been processed.
Please submit a cancellation request as early as possible. When a new payment has already been initiated by the payment service provider, we may no longer be able to prevent it from being processed. In that case, you may contact us to discuss the available refund options.
Tax Consequences of a Refund
When you receive a full or partial refund of a donation, the refunded amount is no longer a donation to Stichting LoveUnlimited Ministries.
When you have declared or intend to declare the original donation as a tax-deductible gift in your tax return, you are responsible for correctly accounting for the refund in your tax return. Stichting LoveUnlimited Ministries may, where necessary, correct a previously issued donation confirmation.
Events through Eventbrite
Stichting LoveUnlimited Ministries may organise events for which tickets are offered through Eventbrite.
A separate cancellation and refund policy may apply to each event. The policy stated on the relevant Eventbrite event page forms part of the terms and conditions for that event.
When the event-specific policy differs from this general policy, the specific policy will apply insofar as it does not conflict with mandatory applicable law.
No General Cooling-Off Period for Events on a Specific Date
A ticket for an event, gathering, conference or other leisure activity taking place on a specific date or within a specific period is generally not subject to a statutory fourteen-day cooling-off period.
By ordering a ticket, you reserve capacity for the relevant event. You therefore cannot cancel the purchase solely because you have changed your mind, unless the Eventbrite page for the event expressly offers a more generous cancellation option.
Cancellation by the Participant
When you are no longer able to attend an event, the cancellation terms stated for the relevant event on Eventbrite will apply.
When no refund option has been offered for the event, cancellation by the participant generally does not entitle the participant to a refund.
You may contact us when exceptional circumstances apply. We will assess such a request on the basis of reasonableness, but cannot guarantee a refund.
When a name change or ticket transfer is permitted, it may be possible to transfer the ticket to another person. Please contact us before the event to arrange this. A ticket may not be resold for profit.
Cancellation by Stichting LoveUnlimited Ministries
When Stichting LoveUnlimited Ministries cancels an event in full and does not offer an equivalent replacement event, we will refund the ticket amount you paid.
This includes any mandatory costs that formed part of the original ticket price, insofar as these were collected through Stichting LoveUnlimited Ministries or Eventbrite and can be refunded to us.
We may offer you a ticket for a new date or another suitable alternative. You are not required to accept this alternative. When you do not accept the alternative, you may request a refund.
Rescheduling or Significant Changes
When an event is moved to another date, the ticket will generally remain valid for the new date.
When you cannot reasonably attend on the new date, you may request a refund within the period stated in our notification.
When the content, location, duration or execution of an event changes so significantly that it can no longer reasonably be regarded as the same event, you may also contact us. We will then assess whether a refund or another appropriate solution is necessary.
A limited change to the programme, schedule, room layout or order of programme elements does not automatically entitle you to a refund.
Force Majeure
It may occur that an event cannot take place as planned due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Examples include government measures, serious safety risks, extreme weather conditions, loss of access to a venue, illness of an essential person involved, technical emergencies or other force majeure situations.
In such a case, we will attempt to reschedule or adapt the event or offer a reasonable alternative. When the event is permanently cancelled, the provisions concerning cancellation by Stichting LoveUnlimited Ministries will apply.
We are not liable for personal expenses that were not paid directly to Stichting LoveUnlimited Ministries, such as travel, hotel, parking or accommodation costs, unless mandatory applicable law provides otherwise.
Requesting a Refund for Tickets
A refund for an Eventbrite ticket should preferably be requested through Eventbrite. To do so, you can go to your tickets in your Eventbrite account and, when this option is available, select the option to request a refund.

Please state your name, the relevant event, the order or ticket number, the amount paid and the reason for your request.
Payment of Refunds
When a refund has been approved, we will initiate it as soon as possible and generally within ten working days.
The refund will normally be processed through the original payment method. After we have initiated the refund, it may take additional time before the amount becomes visible, depending on Donorbox, Stripe, Eventbrite, your bank or card issuer.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
When there is a problem with a donation or ticket, please contact us first whenever possible. This gives us the opportunity to investigate a mistake and, where necessary, issue a refund directly.
A chargeback through a bank or card issuer should only be used when there is a valid reason, for example in the case of an actual unauthorised payment or when a justified request has not been resolved.
Misuse of chargebacks, knowingly providing incorrect information or reversing a lawfully made payment may result in future payments being blocked and, where necessary, the recovery of demonstrable costs.
External Sellers
When books, music, tickets, products or other items are offered through an external website or seller, the return and refund policy of that external seller applies.
Stichting LoveUnlimited Ministries cannot issue a refund for amounts paid directly to another organisation or seller.
