The Aim ofTribulations.
Jesus Christ died for our freedom. Many therefore assume that the Christian life should be a life without struggles. But when we accept Him, a growth process begins — and that process passes through fire.
A four-part series: from the knowledge of the Word, through insight and wisdom, to character, authority and the refining fire of tribulation.
Contents
The growth process unfolds in four stages.
Each part builds on the previous. Knowledge without insight stays dry; insight without character turns into pride; character without testing remains untested.
Read the parts in order, or pick the one that speaks to what you're walking through right now.

Knowledge of the Word of God
Without the knowledge of the Truth it is trivially easy for the enemy to deceive us. Everything starts with the Word — the lamp to our feet.

Part II · Revelation
Insight and Wisdom
Knowledge alone is like watching a fire through a window — you see it, but you don't feel it. Only insight and wisdom bring us near.

Part III · Transformation
Character and Authority
Our character matters more to God than our works. Character is formed when we allow the Master to change us from within.

Part IV · Refining fire
Testing and Tribulation
The genuineness of our faith — more precious than gold — is tested by fire. Tribulation produces perseverance, and perseverance character.
"We also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope."
Romans 5:3–4
