The LORD Fights for You

The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.
Exodus 14:14 — Source: NKJV
There are times when God does not ask you to fight harder, but to be still. Not still out of powerlessness, but still in trust. Israel was trapped between the sea and the enemy, but God was not cornered. This is encouraging: your impossibility is not a limitation for Him. Yet, being still is often harder than fighting. Because as long as you keep busy, it feels like you are in control. But sometimes your panic precisely obscures God's leading. The question is: do you dare to let Him fight without constantly getting in His way?

Proclamation

The LORD fights for me. I do not have to react out of panic or control. I become still before Him and trust in His mighty hand.

Prayer

Lord, teach me to be still when You say You are fighting. Free me from panic reactions and my own solutions. Let me trust in Your strength and timing. Amen.
